Pine Island Fire District
Pine Island, Orange County, New York.

The Board of Fire Commissioners is organized and operates under the Laws of The State of New York. The Board of Fire Commissioners is made up of five citizens. Elections for the Board of Fire Commissioners are held each December for the expiring office and runs for five calendar years. Any voter registered in the Fire District is eligible to vote in this election. Further information is available from the Orange County Board of Elections.

Thanks to the entire Community for approving our new fire house by a vote of 153 to 81.  The new firehouse will shorten response time and assist firefighters in expanded training and better security for equipment. Overall this means the best in safety and service for our community.
